AIDA64 is een diagnostisch programma voor het volledig uitmeten van Windows computer systeem-prestaties. De AIDA64 Extreme Edition is de opvolger van Everest, het is een ideaal programma voor het maken van PC prestatie benchmarks en overclocking doeleinden.

Wat kun je met de AIDA64 dan doen?

aida64 extremeMet de AIDA64 Extreme Edition kun je een computer volledig analyseren zonder dat je deze hoeft open te maken. Het is meestal het geval dat je een computer moet openmaken wanneer je het vermoeden hebt dat je computer problemen haar oorsprong hebben in een hardware component. Dit is niet meer direct nodig met behulp van de hardware diagnostics van AIDA64 die op basis van een database met meer dan 150.000 componenten en PC stress test kan uitvoeren om te bepalen welk hardware device iets mankeert.

Los van deze krachtige hardware diagnostics kan de AIDA64 Extreme Edition software ook de prestaties van de harde schijven, processoren, en het geheugen meten. De software bevat processor benchmarks die o.a. MMX, 3DNow!, SSE, XOP, FMA, en AVX instructies gebruiken. AIDA64 Disk Benchmark bepaalt de overdrachtsnelheid van informatie van (optische) harde schijven en solid-state drives.
Daarnaast kan AIDA64 meer dan 150 verschillende sensor devices ondersteunen voor het meten van de interne temperaturen en energieverbruik van de computer. AIDA64 kan een gebruiker alarmeren wanneer een computer overhit raakt of de interne koeling niet meer werkt.

Ten slotte kan de AIDA64 Extreme Edition ook alle software en het besturingssysteem analyseren en een overzicht geven van alle software licenties, beveiligingsapplicaties, DLL bestanden, start up programma’s en bezochte websites.
