Winner of the award "Oscar" Vangelis performed epochal work "Mythodea" in the Temple of Zeus in Athens on June 28 2001 for thousands of audience and even more numerous spectators who watched the concert on a huge video screen at the Marble Stadium, built in honor of the revival of the Olympic Games in 1896. 
participated in the concert soprano Kathleen Battle and Jessye Norman and London Orchestra (London Metropolitan Orchestra ) and Chorus of the National Opera of Greece from 120 votes.
