"Come on over..." said Blanche "...if you want those knitting patterns." Vanessa thought this was very generous of her neighbour but was a little 
suspicious after she'd told her she kept them in her bedroom and found Blanche sitting on the bed waiting, without any yarn or purl to be seen. 
Indeed, Blanche had planned all along to get the young woman to slip away, cast off her clothes, joining her for a naughty afternoon ribbing entwined.
