T.C. Edge (Toby to his friends) grew up in the lush green countryside of Southern England with 2 parents, 3 brothers, and a whole farmyard’s worth of animals. He spent his childhood years wishing he could be a Jedi. Or Super Saiyan. Or just a superhero of some kind. In the end, he decided that such things weren’t possible and chose to satisfy himself as a writer instead.
As an avid movie fan, Toby likes to create highly cinematic books where he can truly let his imagination run wild. So instead of writing stories based in the ‘real world’, he creates worlds of his own, casting his mind ahead hundreds of years to present alternate visions of the future. His dystopian realities are typically harsh and brutal, and often contain characters with wonderful abilities and powers.
