Het oneindige aantal geluids- en MIDI-tracks stelt u in staat om uw audioprojecten zo groot te maken als uw processor en intern geheugen toelaten. Maak geluidsopnames, bespeel virtuele instrumenten en importeer loops en samples. Het aanpassen van bestaande audio aan het tempo en de toonhoogte van uw huidige project is geen enkel probleem dankzij de nu beter dan ooit klinkende pitch-shifting- en time-stretching-technologie van Mixcraft 7.5. Andere vernieuwingen zijn de Performance Panel ('Live Mode' in de Nederlandse versie), een step sequencer en de mogelijkheid om 'live' meerdere parameters te beïnvloeden (volume, panning, filters, etc.) van een track. U kunt niet alleen 'echte' opnames maken met Mixcraft Pro Studio 7.7, u kunt ook MIDI-tracks creëren. Sluit bijvoorbeeld een MIDI-keyboard aan en bespeel hiermee de meegeleverde virtuele instrumenten (orgel, piano, drums etc.) of de alom verkrijgbare externe VST-plugins. Mocht u geen MIDI-keyboard hebben of wilt u het notenmateriaal gaan bewerken, dan komt de overzichtelijke piano roll-editor en notenschrift-editor van pas. Het programmeren van beats gaat ongekend makkelijk met de step sequencer. Het razendsnel triggeren van audio- en MIDI-clips doet u met de Performance Panel, die erg geschikt is voor live-toepassingen. En zelfs als u video's wilt bewerken, is Mixcraft de oplossing.
